During the last four months of 2009 I conducted a photography project around the Rural English Village.
Cornhill on Tweed lies less than one mile from the English-Scottish Border and has a unique location alongside the River Tweed.
Between September and December I involved myself in the heart of the village, trying to capture the essence of modern rural village life. In the end nearly 1500 photographs were taken, many people interviewed and lots of social activities joined. The end result is a finished photobook of my experience and represents the lives of the rural villagers. Below are a sample of some of the things I discovered during my journey.
